Join us for our Pottery throwing 101 class!!! This class will be a four class series. In the first session, Art instructor and Professional ceramicist, Chad Gooch, will guide you through the processes of wedging and throwing on the wheel. The next class, will be working with the the clay in a leather-hard state while you learn how to trim your vessels, and attach fittings! The pieces will then need to dry and be bisque fired. The third class,  you will come back and continue practicing what you have learned and glaze your fired pieces. Then they are ready for their final firing. Plan on 3 different visits to the studio to complete your projects. Time frames needed will vary, and you can use our studio in between class times in order to complete your projects. You will be producing up to 3 small to medium sized completed vessels, but may produce more practice pieces that won’t be fired.

Guided Class sessions are on Oct 22nd , 29th and Nov 5th, 12th 

Cost of class covers ALL materials, firing fees, glazes and the 4 guided class sessions

 Times are from 6-8pm in the studio

*Other studio times to work on your pieces will vary according to your schedule (up to 8 additional studio hours included)
