It’s a creative Hand-build Clay kind of day!!  This class will be the first of a several-session time frame. On the first day, Art instructor, John Kittle, will guide you through the processes of slab rolling, scoring and joining and using tools to create the structure of the house. The next visits will be working the clay in a leather-hard state while you carve and punch out windows and doors and add the unique embellishments that your imagination can think up! The houses will need to dry and then get fired. Lastly, you will come back to glaze your gnome home and leave it for its final firing. Plan on 3 different visits to the studio to complete this project. Time frames needed will vary, but you can stay and use our studio space as long as you need in order to complete the project.
